If you want to use Mobipocket reader, just install it, and get your pocket queries in that format. It's a check mark on the query design page. When you get the query, unzip it if it's zipped, and then either put the resulting .prc (or .pdb, I forget which with Mobi) file on your SD card in the appropriate folder, or on your E2 via hotsync. Open Mobi and read the caches.
