Garmin 60csx - plotting problem

Recommended Posts

This may be a total newbie question, but I am baffled. I can't get the GPS to plot in the altimeter page. Can anyone shed some advice? It says it is, "working" but then nothing. The altimeter seems to work just fine, but that is all.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have it set for "Over Time", or "Over distance"?

I have tried setting it to both. Both yield the same result of no plotting.

Do you have track log recording turned on?

Hmm. I think I actually have that turned off. I thought that was the option to have the GPS leave a "bread crumb trail." Do I need to have that turned on?

Thanks again.

Yes, as that is where the unit pulls the elevation data from for display.

Thanks! That worked perfectly.
