+AShan
I went to google earth and it has the coordinates of my home across the road from where my Etrex Gps has the coordinates. How do I know that locally I will be at the same coordinates as others? I mean I want to be as close to the cache as I can, not 60' away. thanks, Tony Quote Link to comment

JD Are you using the same coordinate types? If that's not the case (highly likely) then try measuring the coordinates of your home outside your house. If you take coordinates inside, the construction can mess with the signal. Google Earth shows my room in the right spot. Quote Link to comment
