kitefan
Hi, Read on a few threads that it's essential to choose the correct vehicle mount for the 60CSX, because a bad one will cause too much vibration etc. etc. How's the one that comes in the Garmin Automotive Navigation kit? Here's the product advertised on a UK web site: http://www.blokesstuff.com/Product.aspx?Pr...p;ProductID=707 That one OK? Thank you! Me Quote Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
Some swear by their Garmin friction mounts. Others swear at them. I prefer the RAM Mount with a suction cup attached to the windshield. It is rock steady, allows you to plug in the power and an external antenna if desired, and generally sells for less than the Garmin. Quote Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
I vote for the RAM mount as well. Just got one for Christmas and I love it. Much better and stronger than the Garmin mounts. Quote Link to comment
+Ultimate 5
I gotta vote on my RAM windshield for my 60csx as well! Quote Link to comment
kitefan
Sounds like a unanimous vote for the RAM Windshield option. Which of the ones you're suggesting is it on this page? http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/ram-hol-ga12.htm Also - I'm in a Toyota Estima... the windshield is at quite an angle to the vertical, and hence quite distant from my eyes when I'm driving... maybe the windshield mount isn't suitable for me?? Thanks!! Quote Link to comment
