total number of active caches in the world?

Hi, is there a page that lists statistics about all the caches currently active? And related info, such as how many caches found each month? I've searched the FAQs for this info but without success.

I did find http://www.cacherstats.com/ which lists the users with the most finds...

Scroll down the main homepage of the website and you'll see a summary of total active caches and weekly logging activity. Right now when I copied the information for this post, it read like this:

 

There are 340746 active caches worldwide.

In the last 7 days, there have been 148090 new logs written by 24325 account holders.

Is there any place that those stats are archived so you can see how it's changed over time? It would also be interesting to see how many are in various countries, states, provinces.
