+JT & PJ Cole
My USB connector on the back of the 60cs pulled part way out of the case when removing the USB cable. I could push in back flush. I have to "wiggle" the cable and hold my mouth just right to get it to connect. Has anyone opened up the case or is this a repair for Garmin? Quote Link to comment

Garmin's after sales service has a good reputation - I would stongly advise against opening the case, especially as it will no longer be waterproof BTW If the USB socket pulled out it in normal useage it might be manufacturing/design defect - in the UK you could probably use the sale of goods act to get a replacement. I presume there is similar legislation in the US? Quote Link to comment

I've heard of this happening and a previous post (last year) stated Garmin will cover this under warranty. I don't have any personal experince with that issue so I can't confirm that it is true. Contact Garmin. Don't open the case or you may void your warranty. Quote Link to comment
+JT & PJ Cole
Thanks for the replies. Loss of waterproof would not be good. I have had the unit for a while. Garmin it is. Quote Link to comment
