JOE Caches

This post was posted in the regional forums UNTIL we decided to expand the JOE cache project up the east coast all the way to Canada.

 

Over the past few weeks, the members of the Tri-Cities Geocachers have been thinking up an equivalent to the LTL or Loop to Loop series of caches for I-40. The name JOE was finally thrown out and the decision was made.

 

JOE - Just Off Exit

 

The JOE cache series is to be just like the LTL cache series, one at every exit along I-81 from Morristown TN to Winchester VA. The "official" JOE cache website can be found at the address below. It contains tons of information about JOE caches including the history of JOE caches, the official write-up, the JOE cache "guidelines", and several JOE cache related links.

I'd like it a lot more if the caches to be placed were quality caches. I'm sure the numbers runners will enjoy it though.

Well dang, just made that run last weekend! Birmingham AL to York PA included both I-40 and I-81, wish I had known about them!

Oh well, next trip!
