overtaxed1
I just noticed that when I create and save a PQ even if I select specific cache types (traditional, virtual, etc) my PQ returns all types of caches. Must be a glitch - all of the other attributes (unfound & active caches) that I select stay saved. Anybody else experiencing this problem? Link to comment
BlueDeuce
I just tried it. Seems to be working for me. My most common mistake is not selecting the "Selected types" radio button in addition to the Virtual attribute. Link to comment
overtaxed1
D'OH!! I feel stupid, I forgot about that - I've been doing PQ for quite some time now, but missed that this time. Thanks for the help! Link to comment
BlueDeuce
That's okay, just a couple days ago I was doing a series of PQs by placement date. I got the first one under 500 caches. On the next one I couldn't believe it, there were more than 500 caches placed in two months! oh, you can change the date but if you don't select the attribute....oops. Link to comment
The Leprechauns
Tip: To minimize the risk of mistakes like those described above, COPY an existing pocket query that has parameters similar to the new one you want to create. It's much faster than re-checking mostly all the same boxes over and over again. If you *always* exclude micros, or puzzles, or terrain 5's, you can save those basic parameters just once and never mess them up. Link to comment
