creating a route

I'm trying to create a route for Caches Along A Route. I create the route in Mapsource and it shows all of the turns. I save it as a GPX file. I upload it to Geocaching.com. When I look at in in the Route query, I only have 2 points on the route - beginning and end - and the map shows it as a straight line rather than a turn-by-turn route. What am I doing wrong???????
