Just for information,

 

There is an updated version of Memory Map available.

Here are the differences

 

Changes from MM V5 OS Edition 5.1.1 to 5.1.3

Added: Show Route Card command to right-click on Route > Operations menu

Added: Save Default Style button to route and track properties.

Fixed: Program closing issue when importing data from a Mobile Device

Fixed: GPX file import / export with ampersands (&).

 

Changes from MM V5 OS Edition 5.0.6 to 5.1.1

Added: Improved support for Windows Smartphones, including Units and Position format selection, Find Place option and scalable Velocity Vector.

Fixed: Display GPS position on route profile

Fixed: Multiple indexes on PDA and Smartphones - when sending a map to a Mobile Device the index file is also sent and loaded automatically when map is viewed.

Fixed: Windows Mobile 5 problem when changing date format in regional settings

ok - this might be a stupid question but is the update free or do you have to pay for it?

If you have Memory-Map v5 already, then the update is free.

 

If you have an older version (i.e. 2003, 2004) then you will have pay for an upgrade to v5. Note that the maps for the older versions will not work in v5 (at least officially...) so you will have to pay to upgrade these.
