+Duxx Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Hey guys, I need a waterproof magnetic micro for a multi-cache. I have been using a key holder and a laminated card but that is not cutting it. Any suggestions where to find one? Thanks. Duxx Quote
+hiikaash Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 I would say just get a small plastic bag, to fit coordinates, and a magnet to hold it in place Reply if it helps Quote
Clan Riffster Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Duxx, something I saw at a recent cache was a 1"x3" section of sheet magnet, with the coords laminated to the underside. It was stuck on a black pole about 7' up, and was dang near invisible. Something else you might try is a bison tube with a mini rare earth magnet glued inside. I've also seen some tiny metal containers that have magnets built in. Looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tiny-Magnetic-Micro-Na...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
+IV_Warrior Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 For just a stage of a multi, I've even seen just a strip magnet with the coordinates written directly on it with a paint marker. Quote
+Duxx Posted August 31, 2006 Author Posted August 31, 2006 All very coool ideas . I have some strip magnets around the house...should really rachet up the difficulty. I also ordered a few of the Micro nano cylinders. thanks for the quick help. Duxx Quote
