+Black Dog Trackers Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 I like the "View Online Maps..." feature of a waymark page. I think I recall reading somewhere in these forums that the coordinates of waymarks are randomized to some extent before indicating their position on a map. Is this true? If so, why? I can see that being done for geocaches, but not for waymarks, which I believe are not supposed to be a puzzle to find.
OpinioNate Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 There's no randomization of the coordinates on our end. Most online maps are off by a house or two in my experience, though. Google comes closest, IHMO.
