Dare2Geocache
When I asked at my (small) local library for a book on geocaching, the librarian was fascinated with the subject. No geocaching books were found, so she suggested that our library buy one for everyone to enjoy! Which one would be best for general use? Please give book title and author of your favorite. Thanks! There are several, but the one I got and liked is the "Complete Idiot's Guide to Geocaching". FWIW, its 'endorsed' by geocaching.com. Quote Link to comment
welch
I think Hike And Seek With Your GPS by Erik Sherman is a good one. The author spent time actually geocaching when researching the book, and used long time geocacher Markwell as a technical reviewer . Quote Link to comment
LetterDude
I'll second the recommendation for "Complete Idiot's Guide to Geocaching". Quote Link to comment
Jhwk
Either of the Idiot's guides or Dummy Guides will give you the basics on topics in easy to understand language and examples. Quote Link to comment
Teach2Learn
Have the library buy the "Complete Idiot's Guide" and then buy one of the others yourself to donate to the library. You might even get your name put inside. Quote Link to comment
