I am sure that most everyone is aware that the SJG website is down.

For some unknown reason, the databases appear to have been deleted.

I don't think it is the work of a hacker, only because most hackers

like to leave splash pages showing off their technical prowess.

We have been working with the host and attempted to restore a backup

copy from their server. Unfortunately, the backup copy was made

Sunday morning, so it basically copied a whole bunch of nothing.

Brian and I will have to rebuild the website from the ground up.

Many will remember that the same exact thing happened last year when

we switched providers. Brian has been unavailable for the last few

days & as soon as he becomes available, we will endeavor to get the

skeleton back up. Due to other things, George and I cancelled our

Poconos trip so I will be available to do my part.

The upshot of this is that we will have a brand new, better website

when this is done. As soon as the site is ready to be unveiled, we

will send a note through this website.

We have many new members who are not currently members of the yahoo

board. Please pass this message on to them. Thanks.

Sorry for the inconvenience. :-(

Hope you all have a happy 4th!

Linda (Mother Hen)
