Barrikady
Can I download waypoints, tracks and routes from my GPS into Google Earth. I have tried it but nothing is working. I have tried to email google earth but I can't find their email. I use a Garmin 60Cx and Mac OSX. Yes, I am able to download tracks to Google Earth. I haven't tried to send waypoints or routes to the GPSR. I use LoadMyTracks to do the downloading to the GPSR I assume you are using a Windows machine. If so, you can download tracks from your GPSR to Google Earth by using GPS Visualizer: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/map?form=googleearth Barrikady Quote Link to comment

If so, you can download tracks from your GPSR to Google Earth by using GPS Visualizer: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/map?form=googleearth ...Assuming he's saved the GPSr's track to a compatible format like GPX. Obviously, being a Web-based utility, GPS Visualizer can't actually retrieve information from your receiver. Quote Link to comment

Gounamitz
Thanks for the info guys, it looks like I have a lot of reading to do. Where can I get all the info needed to get this thing to work. Quote Link to comment
gpsvisualizer
Start by Googling and then downloading either G7toWin or GPSBabel; those are both free programs that can read the data from your receiver and save it as a GPX file. From there, GPS Visualizer can help you make maps out of your data. Quote Link to comment
