I have done some brief looking around the forums for a topic similar to this but had little sucess so I wanted to start one again. Could everyone please tell me their recommended unit for a GPS starter. The unit must require mapping and some decent base maps. I looked at the explorist 210, liked it very much, and had heard nothing but good things about it except that the base maps weren't very good. thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Coach88 Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 I'm a first time GPS user since Jan. 06. I bought a Garmin eTrex Legend, and I love it. I would recommend it to anybody who's starting out.
