German Frameworkhouses

So,

 

I want to create a Category and a subcategory for frameworkhouses.

 

Buildings => Frameworkhouses => german Frameworkhouses

 

other subcategories can be

 

-> french frameworkhouses

-> english frameworkhouses

 

(these are the classical framework houses)

 

but my english and frensh isnt very well, so I dont like to review the waymarks.

Maybe one or two other groups will be there for the subcategories

 

How about this idea?

I like the category idea but don't think they (Groundspeak) are creating sub-categories at this time. I was told when I was setting up the Oregon Historic Markers that they were shying away from sub-categories when I suggested something similar.

 

Here is my suggestion. Try to find someone to help manage this category that is an English speaker and another who speaks French.

 

You need two others to form the group anyhow and these members could help with approving waymarks that you were not comfortable with. If you had simple placement and logging guidelines you could even have your requirements in three different languages.

 

Then you could have variables reflecting different regions or however you wanted to group them.

 

Would you allow others like this one found in British Columbia? Areplica of Ann Hathaways Cottage built exactly like the original in England.

In English we would call these "Half-timbered Houses". Meaning "Having a wooden framework, often exposed, with plaster, brick, stone, or other masonry filling the spaces."
