as with the 'nearest geocaches' link, it would be convenient to have a 'nearest waymarks' link.

 

i listed 3 fountains in a garden. there were others that i did not post.

 

some one has just logged them. i can see on the fountain category if he posts some of them, but what about other categories? i might have not gone to see other 'waymarks' to post, or a new category could have 'made another mark possible'. i feel that a 'nearest waymarks' function would be beneficial to the Waymarking movement.

This is from an email I got from Jeremy, after I recommended some new variables for the Tour Guides Category.

 

We’ll be linking the two profiles together so the Url isn’t really necessary. Also the coordinates for the waymark would work for nearest cache searches once add some reciprocal links on the waymark pages. I’ll make sure Sean gets those items online sooner than later.

 

That answers a little. Some of the things you said are already in progress.

I have no idea what any of this means, but hey - a "nearest waymarks to my location" link would be a very welcome addition to the site. It's probably how I would be most likely to look for waymarks.
