+Eye Cacher
The error returned was: One or all of your search keywords were below 4 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please go back and increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords I saw the above when doing a search for "Micro log". What's the reasoning behind not using shor keywords? I'll try 'logbook' instead, so no biggie, but now I'm just curius. Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
Try this: micro log& Link to comment
+the hermit crabs
Or better yet, try "micro log%" Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
That was the first thing I tried when I was looking to confirm the answer to the OP. I had always thought the wildcard for the short words was the percent sign. But for some reason, "micro log%" didn't work for me, but "micro log&" did. I just assumed this was a feature of the new forums. Does "micro log%" return anything for you? Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
I just looked through the forum search help, but couldn't find anything in either the standard or advanced search help about the right way to perform short word searches. The advanced search help (below) seems to indicate that an asterisk is a valid wildcard, but "micro log*" doesn't work for me. Link to comment
Jeremy
+micro +"log book" also works. 3 letter items come up so often that it puts a strain on the db queries. That's why there are limitations to the searches. Link to comment
