+ozymandiasism Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 (edited) What is the easiest way to plot a route on google map or Gmaps Pedometer, then export as a GPX file to a GPSr? The instruction on Gmaps Pedometer is pretty unclear and I couldn't get it to work. Thanks!!!! Update: Actully just got the file to transfer.... I still have to road test to see if the routing is done right.... has anyone tried this before? Edited March 16, 2006 by ozymandiasism Quote
+Prime Suspect Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I've used GMapToGPX. When you have a route displayed in GoogleMaps, you just click the bookmarklet link, and it convert the route to GPX. You do need to manually copy/paste it and save it to your PC (Notepad or something similar works fine). Then you can use your favorite GPX utility to upload it to your GPS. Quote
