+jackanddonna
Hi All, Been playing with EasyGPS for a few days now and works well with my old Magellan GPS Tracker. Now I'm trying to make it work with my GPS310. There is no listing for that particular model so I tried loading as a GPS315 and TrailBlazer XL with no success. Has anyone here tried using EasyGPS and a Magellan GPS310 with successful results? Edited March 4, 2006 by jackanddonna Quote Link to comment
topografix
If I recall correctly, the Magellan GPS 310 does not support data transfer. Look on the back - if it has two contact points instead of four, it can't be used with a PC. (two points for external power, two more for data transfer) Quote Link to comment

Have you tried kicking the baud rate down? EasyGPS defaults to 9600, but most Magellans are set to 4800 out of the box. Quote Link to comment
