Pushkin Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Well the MGA (Maritime Geocaching) site is down again... anyone know when it'll be back up? (sigh). Quote
dragonflys Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 not sure Pushkin, the old server is in need of some TLC but we have been spoiled by Farside taking care of it all the time. If you really need a fix I went on to www.atlanticgeocaching.com. There are some interesting articles there. dragonflys Quote
LongReacher Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I can cobble together a temporary shoutbox and basic forum if anyone is in deep need. I don't wish to step on toes though...It would only be a stopgap measure until the main site is up and running again. Let me know. Quote
thecyr Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 the other site certainly could be a good alternative when the MGA goes for the hardcore. The chat applet works pretty good. Quote
The Lost Geeks Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 We are hanging out at www.atlanticgeocaching.com in the chat box for all of those Maritimers wandering aimlessly while MGA is down! Quote
NewfDawg Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Thank goodness I wandered in here.....missing watching the shoutbox....will go to the atlantic site Thanx!!! Quote
Pushkin Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 up down up down up... down... to the other site Quote
Tucats Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Sorry that you feel the way you do about the MGA site Pushkin. You must realize that some people have real jobs that take them away from home and out of the province for long stretches at a time. Sometimes FSX can't always be at our becconed (sp) call to fix things as fast we (or he) would like. Patience my friend...patience is a gift, patience is a virtue. Quote
Pushkin Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Easy easy Tucats, I'm not impatient about this, I don't know how you got that idea, all I said was that it was getting annoying, I didn't say FSX should get out there and fix it immediately. And that real job thing... well... don't say stuff like that unless you know what you're talking about. Quote
thecyr Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 or you can join us at atlanticgeocaching.com since we're all huddled over there while MGA gets fixed. Quote
