+Jacko65
Hi, I'm fortunate enough to own an "Explorist 600" which I download my cache CoOrds straight from the Web.(Easy Peasy!) My 6 yr old daughter has been acompanying me recently and has been bitten by the bug. I've ordered an "Explorist 100" for her as her first GPS to let her get used to playing with one etc. Problem is how do you manually enter CoOrds into the GPS? I've looked at the manual online and am none the wiser. a step by step guide would be great but any help will be greatly appreciated. Kind regards. +geognerd
Entering coords manually for the 100 is pretty much like on the your 600, except the 100 won't give you an option for which file you want to save the POI in. Here are the steps: 1. Press mark 2. Use the center joystick to click/scroll to the coordinates. 3. Press enter. 4. Change each digit of the coordinates to what you want by scrolling up or down, then left or right to move to the next digit. Press enter to go the E/W coordinate after you finish the N/S coordinate. Press enter when done editing the coordinates. 5. Scroll down to save and press enter. All done. Quote Link to comment
