+BuckBrooke
I would have thought this was a practical joke, except for the fact that it's on the Australian government site: Australian national public toilet map This is almost a Waymarking category, though more useful than some. Any othere interesting uses of GIS organizing out there? As a note, I don't like the fact that you can't put consecutive capital letters in a topic's title. It's supposed to be GIS. +Klemmer
LOL!! Too funny!! Neat site. Still might be a spoof. The URL is www.toiletmap.gov.au. I'm pretty sure if it was on their website, it would be www.au.gov/toiletmap (or something similar). But I'm not an expert..... Edit: Boy, it sure does look legit. Lots of links, etc etc.... Wow. Edit2: I guess it IS legit (see below)! Still too funny! Actually a good idea, too. Edited January 6, 2006 by Klemmer & TeddyBearMama Quote Link to comment

The US is unique in that we don't generally use the country top level domain name in our domain names. -Matt Quote Link to comment
+BuckBrooke
And it could be aliased on their server. For example, the Physics and Astronomy (PandA) department at UNM uses panda.unm.edu, which is aliased to what would usually be www.unm.edu/~panda Quote Link to comment
