Magellan Geocache Manager Question

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was able to download the waypoints from this site to my desktop. I drug and dropped one to the magellan geocache mananger software and was able to transfer it to my explorist 400 with no problem. Now I want to drag and drop several to the mananger but every time I try instead of showing multible lines with diff. waypoints it looks like each one just replaces the previous one and I end up with one line showing only one waypoint where I would want to look and select from several. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction?

Thanks a bunch

Yep, I did the same thing this weekend with my new eXplorist...

Once you drag and drop the first waypoint to the program, to add subsequent points you have to go to the open menu, and add them from there. Be sure to hit the "append to existing list" button. Hit "no" when it asks if you want to save the file now. Wait until you're done adding points.

Page 70 (or 73 acording to adobe) of full manual should help (that's where I had to turn).

Ugh. Many of eXplorist users go with GSAK to create their geocaching files.

GSAK is excellent, but, if you stay with the geocache manager way, just remember, it will only pack 200 caches onto your eXplorist - no matter how many you have in your file.

So, lets be careful out there :antenna:
