Enhancing Searches

Would it be possible to list the kind of basic, helpful information contained in this post prominently in the Groundspeak forums? At a minimum, perhaps a prominent "search help" link on the search page and a stand alone pinned topic "How to find what you're looking for"?

 

I suspect many new users are befuddled by the search function (i.e. show results by topics vs. posts, unaware they can use logical operators). Once they try the search function and find it ineffective, many people will never try it again (and therefore won't learn to use it more effectively).

 

Of course there are those who won't use search regardless, but every little bit helps!
