+user13371
There's a pretty good discussion forum for iFinder users over on Yahoo. But since I lurk more in the Groundspeak forums, I'd love to see more Lowrance stuff posted here as well. I'll start this thread with a trick I just learned over in that Yahoo forum: TIMESTAMPS ON TRAILS Problem: The Lowrance iFinder does not include timestamps in recorded tracklogs/trails. Shows where you've been, but not when, or how fast you were moving. Solution: Set the iFinder to record track points at timed intervals (e.g., every 2 or 3 seconds). And set a waypoint at the start of your trip. Your starting waypoint WILL include a timestamp, and times for the rest of the trackpoints can be calculated from that. Ozi Explorer has a feature to calculate this already. I also export my trails to a spreadhseet, and it's a piece of cake to add the time stamps there.
