+Sputnik 57
To load maps to your Legend, you'll need to buy Garmin maps (Topo, City Select or MetroGuide). You can buy them from Garmin, but they are lots cheaper from other web vendors. Search this site or Google them. For uploading waypoints, EasyGPS (free) works fine, or for more horsepower, Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK). GSAK is free to try, but costs $20 to avoid a nag screen after about 3 weeks. It's author, ClydeE is a regular around here, and one of the most helpful and responsive programmers I know. The $20 is money well spent. You can load waypoints to the legend with just the click of a button. You can also download waypoints from the Legend to GSAK, or if you buy a Garmin map product, to MapSource (the program that Garmin uses to manage its map stuff). Quote Link to comment
