+mattie
Help: I have a GPSmap60cs and it works great with my laptop and MapSource. However when I try to connect to Streets&Trips 2005 I keep getting the message that I'm not connected. I run the config program and scan for the GPSr and the message is always the same. its not recognizing the USB port. Is there a driver I should be using. It finds the driver in MapSource. I'd appreciate any comments and help. TKS Quote Link to comment
+PDOP's
You'll need to use the serial connection (round connector) and have your GPS interface set to NMEA for S&T to recognize it. Quote Link to comment
vagabond
One other thing check the install cd and see if there is a section for the driver, I know s&t 2004 has it, also nema has to be on in the gps. Quote Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
Yep. S&T only talks to GPSrs using a serial connection. The 60CS has a serial port in addition to its USB (unlike the Legend C or Vista C). It does not, however, come with a serial cable. You need to buy one. Even then, of course, you can't load S&T maps to the 60CS, but you can get it to show tracks and routes on S&T. Quote Link to comment
