The waymark would locate the LAST remaining or ONLY one of anything. For instance the grave of the last confederate widow, the grave or homesite of the last confederate soldier, the location where the last passenger pigeon lived, the site of the last battle of a particular war etc. Another possiblity would be to waymark the only example of a kind. For example "the only B'Hai temple in the United States" (in Chicago). or the only park designed by a certain famous architect, etc. A reference to a credible source in text or on the internet would have to accompany the log, and pictures would probably be a must-have feature. Pictures with a GPS would assure that the person logging the waymark had actually been there. It could be an eclectic category, and a nice place to put those really rare and unique items we run across. Link to comment
