+ToastyMallows
When ever you see a Ohio Historic Marker, give the coords and put it on the site! It's that simple, there are a lot out there and in places you wouldn't know were there. And plus it's just fun learning about the state right? Who is for this? Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
This is already a locationless cache, so the owner of that cache would have first dibs on converting it over here. As Good Dog is an active Ohio cacher, I'd be surprised if he didn't do that. It may already be in the works, as we're starting to see the first wave of converted locationless. I will sure welcome my neighbor to the west. I own the Pennsylvania Historic Marker category! Link to comment
ATMouse
Why not any historic markers that are gov't installed? That way you can go international or any state? I'd like to see this - my parents would NEVER pass one of the blue-and-gold NY state signs w/o stopping to read them. Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
ATMouse, there was back and forth debate about this -- whether it should be one huge category or separate ones for different programs. Eventually Groundspeak decided that it'd be more useful for each major official marker program (national, state) to be listed separately. Link to comment
ATMouse
Oh, okay! That's a bunch o' categories, Lep! Wow! Edited August 19, 2005 by ATMouse Link to comment
+southdeltan
Leps, I sent you an email (I can't recall if to the unofficial or official email you have, you know what I mean) about MS Historic Markers. Should I post a proposal, or post to this one, or what? I'd love to manage the MS markers. sd Link to comment
+beckerbuns
Might I point you over to www.markeroni.com? It's a great site for historical markers... Link to comment
