60cs And Topo! ??

Upgraded from my Legend to the 60CS yesterday and love it! I used Topo! extensively with my Legend but it doesn't appear to support USB. Thoughts or suggestions please? Will a USB to serial adapter work or do I need to invest in the serial cable?

I think NG has an upgrade to allow USB connectivity.

You need to update your Mapsource program. Updating the Mapsource program will not affect maps included with Topo, City Select, etc but it will add new features including the ability to transfer maps, waypoints, routes and tracks via USB.

After running this update you should have no problems transfering Topo maps to your 60CS. If you do it's probably because you don't have the 60CS drivers loaded.

Since he listed "Topo!" and not just "Topo," I figured he was talking about the National Geographic product, which is not affected by MapSouce. If means Garmin's Topo USA, then Rubberhead is right, update MapSource.
