Flakarter
I just bought a Legend C and live in Tampa. My gps shows the red and green marine markers in the various bodies of water. How can I turn those off without turning off the other things on land like POIs, waypoints, etc.? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

+Rubberhead
It depends on which maps you've got loaded. Under most circumstances, you can't turn them off without turning the maps off too. You can change them from the big red and green ballons to a smaller NOAA light symbol. So, which maps do you have loaded? Do you need to know how to make them smaller? Quote Link to comment
Flakarter
I have City Select NA loaded. And yes, if there is a global way to make them smaller, that would help. Thanks!!! Dean Quote Link to comment
+Rubberhead
I don't think you can turn off the POI on City Select. But you can change the symbol set. I'm going from memory but on the map set up page there should be a marine set-up tab. One of the options under that tab should be something like "light symbols" with options like "Garmin","International","NOAA"... Choose "NOAA". Edited July 1, 2005 by Rubberhead Quote Link to comment
