My brother and I do alot of caching together. Our two main projects are finish doing the home work and getting out to find all of the Michigan Geo-Art series, and they're opening up a new recreational area north of a nearby town, so we're building 9 gadgets cahe to place out there. Oh, and of course, we working ob our Michigan Counties challenge (62 out of 83)

Instead of battery-powered, go with a capacitor and solar-panel. Trick would be hiding the panels.
