  1. we're both too stubborn to agree on a team account, especially because we dont get out much to cache anyways. we both log them on our accounts and say in the log we found it together. Markwell was right about 2 people hiding one though, bro got the credit and i have to see our cache everytime i search....bah
  2. i have a touch of ocd, so little things like seeing it everytime bug the hell out of me....Ignore would be a beautiful thing
  3. suck it up and go have fun. it hurts a lot when you bang it, but theres really nothing you can do(even a doctor would just tape it and send you on your way). in highschool i wrestled a match with a broken toe and finger...wasnt such a great idea but i won anyways , so i think you can handle a few easy caches.
  4. i was a little iffy if i wanted to, i didnt think id feel right. now that i know its frowned apon i definately wont, thanks
  5. i think its good for geocaching to spread (otherwise i never would have known about it), but if it becomes way too big its not going to be as fun in my opinion. imagine there being thousands and thousands of caches within 50-100 miles of your house.
  6. would it be in bad taste to just log it, because its really annoying seeing it every time
  7. me and my brother hid a cache but logged it under his account. every time i search for caches in my area from my account, our cache pops up like i never found it. in my cache page it says i have zero caches hidden, is there a way i can get credit for this one?
  8. my friend at work introduced me to this, but he lives something like 30+ miles away from me. luckily after a little convinvcing my younger brother decided it was worth a go, and now we both love it. i tried a few caches alone and its pretty boring not having anyone to share the fun with. i wouldnt be surpirsed if a few new people would be a little intimidated to ask to tag along with more experienced people, so a sort of newbie engine would encourage that people meet up and share the fun.
  9. i have pretty long hair, and on the way to a local cache the wind blew a thorn branch into my hair. i didnt realize it was there until i started walking and it pulled right into the inside part of my ear....niiiiiice. then a few feet up my brother neglected to tell me he was pushing back another branch until he let go...thorn branch right in the forehead
  10. quote:Originally posted by Mopar:Now you'll be able get those co-ordinates a bit closer for tha cache you placed. yeah i checked the map for our cahce and the co-ordinates we gave were about 2 blocks away today im gonna go back and get a better reading, didnt realize you were from jersey.
  11. i am xclusive's brother, we were going crazy yesterday trying to find those! i reconfigured my gps to the setting you said and all the WP's i had saved changed by 500 ft. or more. hopefully that was the only problem, tomorrow we'll get em! thanks a lot for the help, i got the store display so it must've been a little whacked out.
  12. i just got into this a few days ago, and i have a quick question (spare me if its been asked a million times pleeeeease): as soon as i got into this, i came up with a good spot to hide a cache, but as luck has it, someone has one pretty close to the location i was thinking of. herein lies my question: where i want to put one is a bit more physically challenging and would probably be cooler(for lack of a better word). so, do i make it or is there some sort of unwritten code that i shouldnt make one so close to another out of respect?
