  3. Awesome! Thanks! I do like the yellow! So, if I buy the Venture Cx will I find myself wishing for the 60Csx anytime soon??? I just don't want to regret my purchase, but on the other hand, the 60Csx is quite a bit more. Thanks Helga
  4. UGH! I thought I was all set...now I am not!!! I just posted a question in the GPS forum...when I was on the Garmin comparison page, the only difference I saw between the Venture Cx and the Legend Cx was that the Legend come with and SD card...I need a personal shopper!!! Helga
  5. I thought I was all set on the eTrex Venture Cx, but someone mentioned in a different thread that for a little more you can get the Legend Cx which has a lot more features. The only difference I found on the Garmin comparison page was that the Legend comes with an SD card. So what are the other differences and which one should I get? I really don't need anything fancy, but I would like something that will grow as I progress in geocaching, and I want something that works great and is reliable for caching! Thanks Helga
  6. thanks so much!! i totally feel like i am in over my head. i downloaded gsak today and need to figure out how to use it...i am not even all that familiar with pocket queries. i know nothing about palms or cachemate...i soooo want to be paperless, but i am so technologically challenged!!!! thanks, helga
  7. does it fit my ISO ( ISO: Inexpensive PDA w/ everything I need for paperless caching )???? thanks helga
  8. i agree, but i just wanted to check one out in person before buying. thanks helga
  9. Title pretty much says it all! I really know NOTHING about PDAs, so I am really looking for something that is completely ready to use! Thanks a bunch! Helga
  10. So many stores have it online, but I can't find a single store that actually has it IN STORE. Anyone know why that is? Thanks Helga
  11. Thanks! That is actually the one I am interested in! Helga
  12. We are using and older Garmin eMap and while it gets the job done, I get really frustrated with it sometimes. It takes a while to "catch up" when I switch directions while walking or things like that. Do the newer GPSr's work better in that respect? I honestly don't know much about GPSr's...I can use the basic features to find caches, so I don't need anything fancy, but I may be in the market for a new one if they have come a long way in the last couple years (I think our eMap 5+ years old). Thanks Helga
  13. Thanks everyone! Well, we found another cache today, so I guess it will work just fine for now! I think I will wait it out a little bit! Thanks again Helga
  14. We have a pretty ancient one...a Garmin emap...is that going to cut it?? I have a pretty raging shopping addiction, so if you tell me I need a new one...it's as good as done!! Thanks Helga
  15. just wondering! i am very new to this! thanks, helga
