Is geocaching.com paying by the click on the google search engine? If so would they be paying for us to search and click on our own login? Just curious...

Mine showed on the recently logged caches page. !Wow! this gives me more stuff to look up while I'm here at work...

I have a similar question... When this account was set up my fiancee and I decided to use it as a couples joint account. Now that we, or I actually, are/am getting more into the sport I would like to have my own account. Would it be right to log the finds that we found together under a new account? Or would I have to trek out to each one to sign the log book? He doesn't seem to be as into it as I am, with exception to the mssage boards. Maybe I should set up a seperate account to log my finds when I go by myself and keep the joint account for the caches we find together?? ??

Why not add a couple of disposable gloves to your cache pack. Put them on to grab the cache and to replace it. Throw the gloves away with the trash you remove. Besides its always a good idea to have atleast one pair of gloves with you. Who knows what you might find out there.

Wouldn't batteries blow up in a cache in the summer months? Here in Texas it gets really hot, even in the shade.

I like the easter egg idea, though I'm not sure they would hold up like a film canister would. But the egg would make them more appealing to the kids. The eggs come cheap in bulk, but you can't beat the free canisters from the photo labs You could use the screw top canisters that boaters use, the water tight seal in them would help keep the bag and instructions dry. forward the email to paypal so that they can investigate the issue. I recenty came across an article telling of how people are doing the same thing but to Ebay. They were including links in the email that looked like Ebay links, only these directed you to a page that looked exactly like Ebays account update page. a complete dogging session on me. I am not an expert cacher after my five finds. I have been to other caches that are not in this area with other members from around the country. I was simply stating an opinion. I thought that it would be interesting to see just how many people have actually written in the log book with out having to go back and count every last name and entry. People do forget to log the site after they visit a cache. Not every log (the book or the site) is going to be accurate. My apologies for instigating such an uproar... Why don't people keep up with the numbering sequence in the log books. This just irks me! Don't people want to know how many have been there? I guess you could check the online logs.
