Yes it has nothing to do with geocaching ...
That says it all all.
Always tell it like it is.
-
Nice geocoin. Does it have your geocaching name on it anywhere?
No it does not. I should do a personal coins sometime.
-
Cute coin, and boy do I love sushi as well!
Not sure I want to spring for the coin cost & shipping, is that a 1.5" coin or is it larger?
If you're entertaining trades for a coin, I'd definitely be interested!
it is a 1.5 inch coin.

I love geocaching, I love Sushi. I decided to make a geocoin that combined both loves. I only made 85 of the nickel version and 15 black nickel versions. Who else loves sushi? Yes it has nothing to do with geocaching but I myself like to find items in caches that make me smile. You can get this new coin on ebay

wow, how cool....how many countires/states/ discoveries and logs?
congrats
Not sure how many countries or states... 79 logs posted but some are just discoveries. I was a little upset to see the "Old Map" option has gone away, I would love to see the travels of this on a map. I wish you could overlay a geocoins travels into google earth or something similar.

I just wanted to announce that my Absolute Caching Geocoin completed its mission on going to the land of Vodka! It took 20 months and 8,544 miles. Just yesterday I received an email from a geocacher in Latvia who would like to keep the coin in trade for a box of chocolates. Many of my geocoins and TBs have gone missing or have been stolen. It is refreshing to see this one made it through!

Thanks for all the orders, as the website states this will be shipping this coming week. I hope everyone is having a good weekend of caching!
-
It's too bad they're not in 5 packs!
1" diameter is a non-standard die, and with 3D art on both sides in the two premium antique finishes, it seems fairly priced to me.... I'll see if any of our locals want to combine an order to save on shipping.
The 3D Art in person is very impressive. Orders go out the week of the 20th
-
Thanks. What about the dimensions? Not too much info available on the page...
If its a micro then it will most likely be 1.0" by 2.0mm thick, but thats just an assumption.
Yes, it is 1.0' by 2.0mm. Thanks to everyone for their orders so far.

How much is shipping?
$2.75

Well, if you've got permission, you've got permission. I'll take 5 of the wyoming coins when you get there.
I have 20 states done as far as artwork. Going to get samples soon. Here is a Wyoming sneak peak. You want to be the sponsor?
Just thought I might point out, there has already been a 2007 Wyoming coin done and is for sale right now.
The Wyoming version is not due out for a long time.... it is a part of a 50 coins series and it is a MICRO

Actually it's more like a fig than a shrivelled pear, but never mind.
As you've educated me about the Hershey's Kiss, I'd better make sure you know about TimTams.
TimTams are the yummiest chocolate biscuits in the world and come in many varieties.
This (slightly edited) exchange occurred on our local Oz forum recently (the general topic was why various products are sold in some places and not others).
“Question:
Why have Arnott's never exported TimTams to their US operation?
The Yanks who've tried them pay exorbitant amounts for them at Aussie import shops when they get home, because they can't live without them once they've become addicted.
Answer:
Speaking with great authority as someone who worked at Arnott's for over six years...
The high management of Arnott's wouldn't know a good idea if it popped out of their <censored> and <censored>.”
And this despite them being named after a horse that won the Kentucky Derby in 1958!
Speaking for myself, I could cope with a day without a coffee more easily than a day without a TimTam . . .
I say we do a Tim Tam Geocoin together!!! Tim Tam Slams 4ever!
-
Um . . . I suppose I'll have to ask.
What is the connection between a shrivelled pear and Kiss?
KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid
KISS = rock band
Kiss = ???
I'm guessing that you don't have these down under.
Kiss - Hershey's Kiss - a drop of chocolate wrapped in foil. the Stem of the "pear" is a piece of paper to open the foil wrapper.
They can be seen at Hershey's website.
I was wondering where in this thread was a shriveled pear....but now I see they are deprived of the wonderful Hershey's Kisses.....how sad for them....
I have never thought a kiss would look like a pear...lol...but it kinda does.
Yes but we are deprived of Tim Tams (Australian, not sure if they have them in NZ)
Kiss Geocoins now also on Ebay for those that want to combine shipping.

In fact I have plans on using the rejected designs for all 50 states. Guess you let the cat out of the bag. It will be called the rejected design series.
-
Don't you worry about having ripped off the design from the two official US Mint versions of the Utah state quarter that weren't selected?
Nope, not worried. Already consulted on the matter. No images were copyrighted . See website here.
http://www.usmint.gov/consumer/index.cfm?f...amp;sub=Jewelry
The key is they were not selected

Announcing the 2007 Utah Micro. Here are the six samples I just received. I would like the community to vote on which finishes should be made. You can say 1 2 3 4 5 or 6. 1 being on the top left. 4 being on the bottom right. Also please email utahmicro@utley.us if you are interested in having this coin. This will help me decide the quantity to order.
Thanks
