I am in KC and have not noticed it, but now that I think about it its been a while since I have seen one. I think we are gonna go caching this weekend for a while, if so, I am going to really keep track of what says it has it in there and where.

I have never put it in mass storage. I just hook it up to the computer, open Mapsource then retrieve from unit. Of course that only retrieves tracks, saved routes and the such, but that is all I need it for. As for loading it, I use GSAK and then use the send to GPS option. I am gonna watch this as I may learn something here. Good luck with learning to use it. Once you have it figured out you won't want anything else.

I believe it means you logged one cache twice. I may be wrong though.

I believe that was the episode where gormigon kidnapped Bones and Hogkins and buried them in the car. Hogkins used purfume and something else to get a cell signal long enough to send the coords of where they were by looking at the soil around them. I think.

I have a cousin that lives in Selm, Germany. Every time I asked him to convert to feet or inches or whatever, he would say the same thing!! LEARN METERS Keri. LOL. A simple no is good enough for me. I have been playing around with this on my blackberry 8330 today. While it seems to work fine (read user is not all that great with it) its driving me insane that the measurements are in meters and not feet. Is there anyways I can change that?

I have twitter. I don't post on it. Use it for the coupon of the day of a local pizza joint, tweets from a local weatherman, breaking news and the word of the day. I use to post on it. I never said my location though. I also have a facebook account. Never post on it either. Only use it to farm and it irritates me I have to have the facebook account to farm. I have several friends that post where they are at the moment. I never thought of robbing them, just "why do you think I care where you are at this very moment" kind of thoughts.

I had the same problem. So I just put a "." after the name. Maybe that will work and you can still have your name, just with a dot after it.

I put a very hard puzzle out here and while waiting for it to be published was talking to a caching friend of mine. Told her that I was having a problem with it and she asked where it was. The only hint I gave her was it was by such and such a cache. An hour later the cache was published and the same friend called me. She had no idea how to do the puzzle, but her and another caching friend were gonna go see if they could find it with that one hint (they did not ask my permission to do it, just called and said that is what they are gonna do). Let me know how it goes and good luck was my response. There are not other caches around that area so they had a lot of ground to cover. Sure enough, a couple hours later, they called me hooting and hollaring and had succeeded in their mission. I could have been mad they did not do my almost impossible to solve puzzle in my mind, but instead decided to join in on their fun and got to listen to a story to remember of their trial and errors. This is something they like to do. Try to "beat the system" per se. In her mind the object of the game is to get the smiley at whatever expense needed (with limitations of course), where as mine is different and I would rather try to solve the puzzle or do the multi to see what I might see. I give them credit for taking that time to wonder the woods without any idea of where it could be and the savageness it took to do that. They both wrote lengthy logs on my page about how they went in search for the cache without doing the puzzle and to this day we still laugh at some of the stuff they went through to find that cache. To keep this on topic, I don't think you should have deleted the logs, but that is just my opinion. Me and my friend play this game in different ways, just as I am sure you and I do. To each their own. I am not big on earthcaches as I feel the geologist in me is a kindergardener, but I still would have your multi.

We too had Verizon due to an employee discount program. We shopped around for no reason and found out Sprint offered the same discount, only it was a bigger discount to what Verizon offered. So we went that route. I had the Palm Centro with Verizon and had nothing but trouble with that phone. When we went to Sprint I got the BB Curve 8330 and love it. Verizon should carry both phones, and if given the choice, I would go with the Blackberry over and over again.

I've never had a problem with mine other than the compass. A friend of mine turned of something in it, I don't know what, and it has worked fine ever since. I LOVE IT!!!!

I sent out a TB that was a bone (read bag of plastic bones from the store at Halloween) that wants to visit cemeteries. People seem to enjoy it when they find it. I don't think your angel will cause any problems. I would move it along.

I have a friend in Montana that I met thru another friend via IM services. I have never met her in person but would let her spend as many nights on my couch as she wanted.

I wanted Flo, but it was already taken by someone who has not logged in in over 3 years. Webscouter. lives in the same city I do, and knowing he used a "." after his name, I went that route and got Flo.. The only thing is it has bit me back and now everyone calls me Flo Dot. I like it, its unusal and better than just Flo.

Knock on wood I have not really lost anything but the accelerated depreciation of my vehicle from high milage, but I have a friend who will kill a PDA within a week of getting it. I believe she is on her 4th or 5th one now in a little under 6 months.

This happened to my Hcx and my friends Hcx. Garmin sent me a new rubber boot and the tape so I could fix it myself. My friend had to send hers in and garmin replaced her GPS with a refurbished one. I am still not sure who got the better deal here, but Garmin knew exactly what I was talking about and did not hesitate to send it out to me FREE OF CHARGE to me.
