So I go to an area of town today that I am normally not in. Not a bad area,just the other side of town. I decide to take a look at the GPSr to see if I have any caches loaded for that area. I did so I decide to grap a couple of caches while there because I would not make a special trip to get these caches because you pretty much know what you are going to find. Now for the rant. When are people going to figure out that these key holders do not make a good cache container? Three out of four caches wet. One was water tight but I guess the top was not put on tight. Two out of two key holders wet, one with a brand new log replaced because it was wet. If you can't place a quality water tight cache don't place one at all or save your money and instead of placing 10 micros place one or two quality containers.

The only problem with that logic is most caches get muggled because the muggle sees someone retrieving the cache. If you just hide a container and no one is trying to find it, it is very unlikely that someone would steal it.

It looks like creacher has had your bug for 6 months. I would contact someone that says they are going to that meet and great and ask them to get your bug for you.

Nothing wrong with trading two things but I would use it as a chance to teach them that things are not always even.

I would go in, look around, get what I needed and leave.

Laquer thinner will remove the markings. No need to sand.

Why don't you e-mail the owner and ask him about it. Seems like the quickest way to find out what is up with the cache.

What kind of caches have you been looking for?

Just what we need, people raiding caches thinking they are going to find valuables. Whoever reported that to the media needs to be smacked.

So,if this cheating you speak of gets me ahead in some way, What do I get when I win? This is really all you have to worry about?

I'm wondering... if you have come across many hides in a certain area... How come you have NO logged geocaches? I noticed the smell of feet but I figured they were using that account to remain anonymous. Telling people bad stuff is uncomfortable for many. That's why I think it's better to contact the admin if you want to remain anonymous. The admin would know if permission was given or could contact the owner and point out something that has been brought up to him. Take my word for it, this is the way to handle something like this. With another account that is. There was a cacher in this area that had let many of his caches go unmaintained and many were missing. I contacted the owner about the missing caches and one that was behind no tresspassing signs. Not long after one of my caches disappeared. Later still the cache reappeared near where it was, with obvious signs that it had been bouncing around in someones trunk. Long story short, be careful whos feathers you ruffle.

Please get some grammer lessons you cant spell very well. The log i deleted was way out of line and made some false statements and was unfair. You are classic. Didn't take long for you to go to the old grammer and spelling attack. Then there is the folding under pressure. You believe in something so strongly that when a few people disagree with you, you go back and delete what you have done. I did expect that thought after seeing the way you edit your posts. I think its more a lack of imagination. Anybody can hide a nano in the woods and make it hard to find. Wanna impress people, hide an ammo box and make it hard to find. Or you could take them to a cool place and make it easy to find. To me that is even better.

i made that post to make a point. The point being,People don't like being called names.

Why would you hide a nano in the woods? Are you too cheap to buy or build a decent container?

Be advised that some will not work well with all laptops. It has something to do with the sine wave. Someone else will have to explain it to you. I know the first one I bought made the touch pad on mine unusable.
