Update on this.After sending them an e-mail and I think someone else contacted them these people finally logged their visit yesterday and logged the coin out of my cache.Thats 11 days to log a visit.

I'll find it,as I said it started to rain and it was cold.I can take one or the other.I'm game for the weekend of the 3rd otherwise it will have to be after the 18th.

Looks like the media is as well recieved here as they are in the skydiving world.Hmmm... I wonder why?

I found a location near by that needs it terribly bad.I went to look for "Popes Ferry V" ,notice I said look cause it started raining and I DNF.It is a very nice area down by the river but unfortunatly it is a mess.It is unbelievable the messes people can make.This does not have to be a huge organized event.A small group to gather and have lunch and clean up the area a bit would be fine.The only weekend I have free until after the 17th of March is the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of March.Either day would be fine with me.

I paid to be a premium member not to be an elitist but to help support the website that brings me so much fun.Would it be rude of me to refer to all of the free members as freeloaders.Sure it would.So lets be careful how we start throwing the labels around.

Just send them a e-mail asking if they forgot to log it where ever they dropped it.That will get the dialog going.I had one go missing out of a cache in front of my house.The people logged their visit in the cache but not the website.I sent them an e-mail asking if they happen to pick up a coin while they were there.I'm told they are new and may not know what they have.

We will be jumping all day on Saturday starting around 10am.Party and bonfire to follow.

I have a cache in front of my house with free parking but you can leave the 5 bucks in the cache if you like.

These are issues in almost every online community that is not highly moderated.It is often hard to know the tone with which something is written and I think many of the instances of someone being obnoxious may stem from that.I have a sarcastic side to my since of humor that, if someone didn't know me,could make me look like an a** on the forums.Not saying you might not think the same if you met me but anyway. The reference to being highly moderated come from an RV forum that I frequent.It is so highly moderated that you can't even get to know the people on the forum because if there is ever a difference of opinion the thread is locked or deleted.There is alot of good info there but you just don't go there to socialize. I hope this post is not lame or obnoxious

I didn't mean anything like that, I was just trying to share an amazing story. Heck driving a car is more dangerous then skydiving No worries.But if not put back on track the thread would be 10 pages about all of the morons that have tried,despite the safety in our sport,to kill themselves.

He's from Alabama so he has no room to talk Sounds like you have a fun day planned. Should be a good time 50-75 of my closest friends,music,BBQ,bonfire.This was not really an invite to skydive although you can.I will have a friend here with a tandem rig.It is more an attempt to meet some of the local cachers. Anytime you mention skydiving on a non skydiving site it usually turns to accidents and deaths fairly quickly.

If you happen to be in Middle Georgia this Saturday the 17th,in the area of postal code 31004,lookup "Have a drink on me".I am having a party and bringing in a helicopter for me and my friends to skydive into my yard.We will be jumping all day.There are quite a few caches close by.Also check postal code 31210.Drop by and say hello.

Kind of my thinking.Lets say the cache owner checks on a cache on November 1st,it's fine but someone sees them put it back and takes it.The next 5 or so people do not log a DNF.This goes on for a month or so.Someone finally logs a DNF but the owner knows he just checked on it and it's been there a long time so he does not worry about it.There could be people looking for it for a long time before they go check on it again.

So you tell everyone if you succeed but no one if you fail. By logging a find I am "Telling everyone"? I didn't realize my logs where e-mailed to everyone. Since there is no "Winner" in this game and we aren't competing against each other, no I don't log my DNF's. I have 2 caches I was unable to find so far if that makes you feel better. The only person that it should matter to is myself, why do you care? Should "Everyone" start caring how many caches you have found and the difficulty of those caches? Logging a find is something you do to show you found it, to let the owner know it's still there. I look at it as fun whether it's a Find or a DNF. If you feel you have to look at a "Find" as a success, good for you. If a person needs to brag about how many caches they have found then yes they should log DNF's. Easy there Sparky.

How about: What are you doing? I'm checking coordinates. Why/For what? Cause when I find the right ones I'll be there. Where? Here. Then just look at them like they should know what you are talking about.

I have a measuring wheel I keep in the truck.I also have a Bright blue reflective vest that says Parole Officer on the back.

Mine is my identity on several forums including RV.net and Dropzone.com.If someone wanted to find me I'd be in trouble.
