  1. Well Done Welcome to the 300+ Club Regards John + Carol
  2. Congratulations from both of us as well - we too are tricentenians!!
  3. We are cachers who carry around several binders full of papers and we have no machine(PDA) to load PQs onto. That was the reason for the request/question in the first place. Unless someone out there wants to run a PQ based on NG18 postcode and let us have the results....
  4. Can we just add that it is great to see them back - we have really missed them - it's funny how you take something for granted until it is no longer there. Well done for all the work for getting this great resource back up and running. MANY MANY thanks!!!! John + Carol
  5. Hi Everyone Thank you for your kind comments - sorry Naffita we didn't mean to insult the whole of Lincolnshire - just there are some folks..... Looking forward to the next 100 Thanks again John + Carol
  6. Is it possible to be notified when a local cache is archived - in a similar way to new caches in the locale? This would be a very useful feature and would save a few wasted journeys? Regards John + Carol
  7. Hi folks Thanks to a fellow cacher in Sweden we have been able to complete this cache - thanks for all the help. Regards John + Carol

Hi We are trying to do the locationless cache "Where's in a Name?" Ref GC3153 Our name "John + Carol" translates to N56 46.x22 which according to our map runs through Canada - Alberta to name but one place. Is there any cachers in that area that could help us out with this cache? Many thanks in advance John + Carol Sherwood Forest in the centre of England
  11. Hi We are trying to do the "Where's in a Name?" virtual cache ref GC3153 Our name "John + Carol" translates to N56 46.x22 which cuts through Denmark and Latvia. Are there any cachers near to those co-ordinates who could post a picture for us? Many thanks in advance John + Carol Mansfield England
  12. Hi Can anyone help us our name John + Carol translates as N56 46. x22. Looking at the map of the UK this equates to around the Brechin or Montrose areas of Scotland. Are there any cachers in that area - who read these forums- who could help us out to get a photo of N56 46. x22 or 22x - you can determine what the x represents also the West co-ordinate can be determined by the other cacher/s. We look forward to hearing from someone. Many thanks John + Carol
  13. We have to admit that we are fans of SimonG's logs and they are worth a look at - a classic example is his log for the Three Trolls Cache in Leicestershire - it is a bit long as it goes over two logs - but SO well worth the read!! :Three Trolls
  14. Any chance of a Sunday rather than a Saturday? As some of us have to work on Saturdays
  15. I'm sure the killer rabbit was on The Goodies!! Maybe NattyBooshka are up for the rabid hamsters idea?!?!
  16. We have one that we will distribute at the Follow the Arrow to the Arrow event in two weeks time...so if you fancy seeing one...
  17. We have at lasst found a very good location for a meeting. This is the scenario so far. The Place - The Arrow Public House in Arnold Nottinghamshire The Time - Lunch time from 12 Noon onwards The Date - Sunday 26th September We look forward to seeing you there. There will be a special cache for the day. We might (if we get round to organising it) make it the start for the English Premiership Travel Bug Race. Free to enter, prize for the Winner. Similar setup to the US NFL Bug race but for Premiership Football teams and their stadia. More details to follow for this in the next few days - when we have got round to setting up a website for it!! If you wish to enter please contact us and we will e-mail you our address and then we will put your bug onto the race starting line. We hope that lots can come - there is a wide varieety of food and inside and outside seating.
  18. We're having the same problems with My Cache Page - perhaps we have logged too many too!! i can't believe Seasider saying that!!!
  19. We used to be BK + SB but are now John and Carol. We have Aeolian Sky 6 and are about to drop it off in Ewden Discovery - so if that is nearer for you!?!?!
  20. Thanks for your responses so far. This is what we have come up with - there is a great restaurant/carvery at Charnwood - however it does get VERY busy, so maybe another time (Stu and Sarah). So we are thinking, if we are organising it, maybe it would be better in Mansfield (Happy Humphrey's suggestion too) And reading about the Exeter/Shropshire dates we don't want it to clash with any others so we were thinking Sunday September 26th, I know the date won't suit everyone but no date ever will. We will find a suitable venue shortly and make the details official - I know it means going out trying food and seeing how good various pubs are - but eh! Someone has to do it!! Any suggestions of what you would like - new caches - childrens cache - multi-cache - puzzle cache - Travel Bug Exchange - Geocacheuk shop - veggie food etc etc Please let us know and we will try to accomodate all your requests. Regards John and Carol
  21. Nor us. Especially when we thought we had done well this month!!
