A geocacher in my area has thousands of junk geocaches in the area that I have no interest in finding. Is there a way to have them not show up on my map? (besides going in and ignoring all of them) thanks!

Is it a puzzle cache? If it's listed as a Traditional, there may be nothing to solve, at least not necessary to go find it, because the coordinates are the cache location. Anyway, see if there's a "Field Puzzle" attribute, or if the cache page says something about the puzzle. On one listing that came up, no logs mention even attempting to solve a puzzle (OK, that's not unusual ). I figured it out quickly, and I'm usually terrible at figuring out puzzles, deciding what a non-standard puzzle is all about. You should try asking a Cache Owner when there's a problem, since we aren't supposed to be solving cache puzzles in public in the Forum. Even a little hint can spoil a puzzle that looks tough but is actually easy once you "get" it. In this case, I can't even tell if there's a "puzzle" component. Maybe...? this is the name of the cache i just wondered what it meant thanks!

I'm so embarrassed.. i was looking for a cache today that was located in a yard. The person came home and I thought he was coming over to help me, but he looked really angry. All that came out of my mouth was am I in the wrong yard? And he said yah I think you are. I was a dumbo and just said sorry a bunch of times and walked away... I'm kicking myself because I should have said what I was doing but i just kind of panicked. Ahgggghhhhh I'm so embarrassed!!! Has anyone ever looked in the wrong yard? Argh I'm such a dummy....
