  1. Ohh two chances to win a coin from my wishlist - Thanks for the cointest Geo.Error!

Tomorrow my parents, sister and I are driving down to the beach to visit family over the Easter weekend.

Here's a picture of my old bunny, who passed away a couple years ago:

His name was Rabbit-E after Robert E. Lee (CSA General during the Civil War)

  2. It has been a little over a month since the last post. Any word on how they are coming along?

The mint will have completed the coins and be ready to ship them to me on the 25th of this month!

If all goes as planned I should be ready to start taking orders shortly after.

  3. You can also use this website to help decide which benchmarks you want to look for.

The "bubbles" are color-coded by last type of NGS recovery: white = monumented, red = not found / poor, green = found.

The different letters inside the bubbles also tell you how accurate the coords are: S (scaled) = not precise, A (adjusted) = exact.

Clicking on a bubble makes a larger bubble pop up with more information and links to both the NGS and Geocaching datasheets for that benchmark.

  4. This isn't exactly on the top of my wish list, but my little sister seems to really like the "B" (Belgium) Geocoin :)

Though not the LE glow version for some reason

My sister still is wanting one of those. I'm not quite at the point that I'm looking to trade for it though -

These are two of the many nice coins that I desire right now:

    Evil Chicken (non-trackable BN)

    (BN) FTF Ribbon

  5. A totally unexpected gift!

    An Old-School Yime!

Great coin, great card...I love it!

Me too. I love it more.

Ive got face ache from grinning at it.

    Thanks Yime

Congrats! You two sure are lucky! I didn't even see the point of putting the Yime coin on my "wanted" list, as I'll probably never be able to get one - but you can bet it's up there now!

  6. I have a $40 gift certificate to GeocoinStore that I'm going to be using soon, and would like to provide an opportunity for trades too.

So if you see a coin for sale on that website you'd like, e-mail me an offer and maybe we can work out a trade.

I'd prefer to trade for coins on my seeking list, but I'm open to any interesting offers.

This offer is still good, and will be for a few more days - if anyone is interested.

  7. Thanks for the info. I'll send you some follow-up details, after I have a chance to check it out in person. It might be a couple of weeks, but I'll get there, eventually. There are a number of benchmarks in the immediate vicinity, so it would make an excellent project for a few hours of hobby time!

I probably can enlist another local BM hunter to assist. (Kyle, are you up for another challenge?--Grin.)

    -Paul-

This sounds like an interesting one. There are a few others around the area that I'd like to visit also, such as EZ2789 I haven't been out on a big hunt for awhile, so I'd really enjoy starting back up again with these. Paul, send me an e-mail about times your schedule will allow you and maybe we can work something out!

  9. Got the ones you sent me! I'll place them soon, and try to spread them out a bit.

Can you let me know where the Appalachian Tenn/NC coin ends up, I'de like to keep tabs on it so I can try and see it at some point. I'm gonna be up in Raleigh soon and would like to see this one because I love the AT through the Tenn/NC border. I don't know if tipping someone off to a coins location is against the rules or frowned on, but if you cant let me know then its cool.

Got that one placed today, the TN/NC Appalachian Trail coin went into the "Chapel Hill Travel Bug Cache" (GCWXCE).

Sorry, didn't get a pic this time :D

  10. 1. Participating

    2. Received Name

    3. Mission Complete

    4. Mission Arrived!

When I opened the mailbox and saw this big yellow mailer sitting there, I was a little confused at first since I wasn't expecting anything. Then it hit me - MY EASTER MISSION!! I tried to tell myself "maybe it shouldn't be opened 'till easter.." but that idea lasted all of about 10 seconds. So I open it up and out falls a bunch of easter chocolates (all eaten now), easter pencils, and a page of 3D easter stickers (my sister will just love these)! I then pull out an envelope with an easter card, with two coins and a TB inside! WOOHOO!! The coins are awesome, and I've actually been considering trading for a TB! All three will be activated shortly. Fantastic easter misson for me, thank you so much menace66!
