Hi, Very very new GPSer here, I was wondering if anyone knew in common distances such as feet, meters, miles, etc.. each digit in a longintude and/or latitude measures? For example: W 37 59.001 How far away is W 37 59.002? How far away is W 37 59.011? W 37 59.100? W 37 60.001? W 38 59.001? If this is a really basic dumb question, I apologize in advance. Thank you. Thanks Sputnik, that thread you lead me too did the trick. You are right about Garmin being finicky. I ended up having to use a USB port on back of computer. Thanks again!

Yes, venture can be run by USB only.

Hi everyone, Brand new to GPS world, I got a Venture Cx and when I tried to connect to computer, I ran into problems. I did the politically correct thing by searching and searching for answers and I found that this post from Capn Cache has the exact same problem I have, but unfortunately no one replied. Can anybody help with this? Would be very much appreciated! Dave
