me and my daughter are the geocachers in this family. We usually keep a ziplock with little stuff to put in. Anything we take out go's into the ziplock to go into another cache. We havnt figured out what our trademark item is to leave in caches. For kids stuff best place to hit is the $1 store... You are fine if you don't take anything out of cache. It's the thrill of the find...

there is one near my neighborhood that is a large shoe size container. It is a Travel bug hotel and the owner encourages you to sit on their front door step and rifle through the container.. This one you cant miss either cause it is sitting in the flowerbed by front door...

I just put a sticker on my Scion xB to see if peeps discover it and I can see miles when we cache on long trips

if ya go to radioshack you can get a portable phone charger/external battery for $20 or less.. I use my iphone and charge my phone between caches.. when I go on long hike to look for several caches carry the back up charger in pocket.. keep phone charge until your done My link

Question about the FTF coin.... Just bought one of the kits from the site.... Do I activate the FTF coin when I hide and start cache or do I just drop coin in and let the first person to take it activate it???..

Just started the sport of caching.. So I am into old VW's so looking for really small VW bug toys to start putting in caches.. Also put a stack of hockey cards in car to start putting those in them...
