  1. Hello, My name is Walking Spirit and I live in The Netherlands. I'm geocaching since 2007 and still enjoying every single moment of it. But there's something I don't like. It's about a special TB of mine, which is in U.S.A. now. It's Zoey. A huge purple shark: http://www.geocachin...=1765575&page=2 Zoey started his journey back in 2009 in The Netherlands. His mission: stay at geocachers homes and let him have a great time. Add a story and photos to your log. How hospitable are goecachers? In The Netherlands I even gave certificates every year to 3 geocachers who gave Zoey a nice time. After 5 years I decided to let him travel to U.S.A.. That was in 2015. There was a Dutch team who was kind enough to take him with them on the plane and even let him travel around with them on a camper tour in U.S.A., before dropping him of at Head Quaters in Seattle. Zoey met several people who work at HQ and was even discovered by Signal the frog. On 08/12/2015 Zoey was taken by team Rsamuel79. Unfortunately this team doesn't add any stories or photos and only log "took it to". That's not the idea of this TB. I wrote them several times but never got any respond. Just "took it to"logs. Question: Is there anybody around here who knows this team and can help me out? I'll be very happy if Zoey will get the logs about his stay and adventures and no "took it to". And let him also stay at other geocachers home. I know I can delete the logs. But my goal is, to have logs the way it was meant to be with this TB. Just have a look at the logs from The Netherlands. You'll be amazed by his adventures. Such a pity this doesn't happen now when he's in U.S.A.
  2. The coin I'm talking about in this topic is been in hands of this geocacher for over 2,5 years now. No responds on any e-mails. Also no9t from the other etam mentioned here. But: now I received logs from geocachers who discovered the coin at the geocoin mega event 2013 in Prague. So the coin is still there but still in hands of this Blackdux007. He didn't put it in the event. So I think he has an album with geocoins to show . He never cached again since 2011. But still seems to visit events. If anyone notice this geocacher at an event with this geocoin, please try to get it and let it travel again. Thank you.
  3. Hello, I'm a Dutch geocacher and owner of TB "Dream around the world"-( see here) . That was my very first TB I released in 2007. I'm very happy this TB is still around but... ...It's in hands of a (I think) Danish geocacher named Pingwau since july 2012. Ever since she logs my TB with "took it to". At this moment that's 10 pages filled with "took it to" logs, which makes a total of ... about 100 logs!... The logs go from Danmark to Germany. Back to Danmark and now Germany again. Not only micro caches but also small caches-which gives an opportunaty to drop the TB in it. But she never does that. I sent several e-mails to ask if she can drop this TB in a cache again. But so far, no respond at all. Just new "took it to" logs. I'll be very happy if my TB will be dropped in a cache again so other cachers can enjoy it as well. Does anyone here knows Pingwau? Anyone here who can help me out? Maybe you know her and can ask to drop my TB in a cache? Thank you. This is my TB I'm talking about:
  4. For some nice sight seeing Stockholm caches, these are the perfect caches for you: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=b1629f16-9f46-49c0-84f9-585d8dbb9b27 Enjoy this wonderful city and the caches.
  5. How do I do that? I went to their profile page and used the "send message" button
  6. I e-mailed the other team but no answer yet. But I trust they will answer.
  7. Correction: my coin was not logged at feb 10 (02.10.2011) but october 2 (10.02.2011). Sorry, I mixed up the date as I'm used to putting day and month the other way around here in The Netherlands . Still, I'll be very happy if the coin can travel again after 6 months. I just contacted the team mentioned here and I do hope they can help. Thanks for your help. I really do appriciate it a lot!
  8. Hi, Who knows team Blackdux007? They have my coin since feb 10, 2011 . They only did 34 caches and logged only one trackable: my coin. Unfortunately no response to any of my e-mails. Maybe there's a geocacher on this forum who knows this team and can help me out? Thanks. This is the coin I'm talking about: my coin
  9. Hej, Who know how I can contact Annis & Olle? I noticed very nice and interesting canoe photos added to an old log and I like to ask something about the canoe. Unfortunately they don't have an e-mail address on their profile page. And I'm not sure, if they still cache. They have a few caches by their own in Stockholm. Among others GCRKV8Down Under. Who knows them and can tell me how I can contact them or maybe they can contact me? Tack! Dutch greetings Walking Spirit
  12. Planns have changed. We'll start in south of Norway. Will go see some "known" fjords and travel a bit up north and then get back through south/west Sweden. Cache Preikestolen is on our list but no idea if the climb is too much for me. We'll leave tomorrow and will travel around for 4 weeks. As we go "camp in the wild"we have no idea yet, where we'll end up.
  13. Tack for these great tips! I'm just a bit worried about the canyon cache, as the last logs were not founds.
  14. Thanks for the tip. This will be my 10th visit to Sweden and the 4th year of caching. So I'm not new in the country. We do like nature a lot and spent time camping "in the wild" and hiking. Favourite area: Idre and Lapland. Did some caching there and also in many other areas in Sweden as we travel around. From Smaland to the east coast all the way up to the High Coast; From central Sweden to westcoast and Norwegian area. From Dalarna to Lapland; from Arctic Circle to even 2 swedish events ... So logs from all over the place
  15. The UV lights sounds nice. Never seen any of those. I can imagine they're hidden in places such as caves? Or do you mean the kind of glow-in-the-dark pins to walk a route?
  16. No planns on a route yet. But we'll travel around and will go up to Lapland. We're not into 5***** caching. We're Dutch and a regular Swedish cache on a hill, can be like a 2 or 3 star cache for us Dutch-who are used to the flat country We're not into the climbing stuff that needs special climbing aquipment. But any nice or special cache-tip is welcome. We can see if it's "too much" for us or not.
  17. That cache sounds/looks very nice. And thanks for the tip about camping there. Looks like this one has a good chance we'll visit it.
  18. Does anyone know some more Arctic Circle caches? We've done the one near Jokkmokk (and the webcam cache ). I know there are some more roads that cross the arctic circle. Are there any caches as well? We also cross our fingers to visit an event. Last year we were near Ostersund when there was the barbeque event. And we also were at an event in Idre-which we enjoyed a lot.
  19. Tack for this invitation. That's very kind of you (and a nice cache you made out of this) If we pass by your area, it will be on our way back. So somewhere first/seccond week of july. I can't make any promises yet but if we pay you a visit, we let you know.
  20. PS: just noticed my links to those ccahes didn't work but now they do
  21. Hej, We're planning on visiting Sweden again in june/beginning july. No route planned yet but we'll go by car (white VW Cartago T4 campervan-which is also a TB by the way). This year we like to get to the North Cape through Sweden. So we'll be up, up north as well. As geocaching brought us to some very nice and unexpected spots, I like to get some new tips again. We already did many caches over there but still looking for "special" ones. Like special places and also looking again for cabins we could stay in (like Huntershut). But no: we won't do that dangerous high bridge! And no 5* rock climbing. Some examples we already did and liked a lot: Telegrafisten Idet Hunters Hut Lappsten Kyrkö mosse scrapyard Any nice suggestions? Dutch greetings from Walking Spirit
  22. Thanks for this translation! I didn't know that this TB was "missing" in his own house. Still pity he never answered any of my mails to explain. Still: I don't want to complain as I;m soooo happy this little frog is on the move again. Again a big thank you for Bangor62!
