So I kind of got hosed for $9.99 and will need to dish out another $9.99 for three months of the functionality I was actually looking for? That's kind of confusing. Oh well. Thank you all for your help.

I don't know... I went to the app store and started to download the $10 Groundspeak app. I had to update my credit card info and then I got an email saying Welcome to Geocaching Premium. At this point I figured I had the paid version. Maybe the credit card info was for my Apple account and it kicked me out of the Groundspeak process. I guess the app store would show if I have downloaded the paid app. Would the paid app send any type of credit card confirmation?

We did shut down and restart. The icon never changed from intro when we purchased the premium version. It is the Groundspeak version.

Thanks for the replies. We are using the iPhone app. My daughter entered the GC code and it said it was invalid. I'm guessing now it may be cap sensitive, and I didn't tell her to try that.

We are new to Geocaching and came across a multi-stage cache we wanted to try. The problem was that there was no "start" or "navigate to" option. We downloaded the premium membership thinking that was the problem, but still had no way to navigate. Any thoughts \ help would be appreciated. Thanks!
