Did you install the builder program? With the emulator you can get an idea what it is like. You can make a simple multi-cache type cartridge to get an idea how to make an wherigocache. So to start you have to have an idea what you want to show to your audience. So go and make some waypoints and get some info of the terrain. Then you start in the builder to make the cartridge. You can always ask specific questions here if you want more info.

You have to download the Builder program to use the emulator. The emulator is intended for developers and users who want to see what Wherigo is. It is not for playing the cartridges.

well , i see that they are saved. but lets say this code is implemented in a cartridge. the player inputs a wp. Can i let things happen in that zone?

Great Thanx! i think i found a bug i entered N51 51.555 E004 25.555 and the saved waypoint was: N 51 01.432 E 004 00.709 and the emulater brings me to: N51 51.555 E4 25.555

In the netherlands a new geocoin-series is produced by the VERENIGDE GEOCOIN COMPAGNIE or VGC. 6 teams made a personal coin(front) with the same backside. My trackable coin(50 pcs) is made in silver and gold. There are also some(50 pcs) made with the 2006 personal side and the new (2008) backside. Only for trade! (coins in hand now) Coininfo: The ss(steamship) Rotterdam was build in Rotterdam(netherlands) in 1958 and made many cruises for the Holland Amerika Line(HAL). Since august 4 the ship lies in Rotterdam and will become a floating multifunctional centre. This ship was the subject of a very succesful geocache in the port of Rotterdam. with the homecoming of this ship the cache is now archived. There was a small event when the ship sailed into Rotterdam for the last time. On the coin is also my team-name and Ketelbinkie , that is the name of the cache series i made in the port of Rotterdam.

Thankyou Ranger Fox. The demo-game is a good idea. It would be cool if you could see on the listing-page if the cartridge can be played in demo(emulator). Your criteria are very much recognised and they are indeed required to make a quality cache. A Wherigo-geocache should be more then a multi cache on a Wherigo player. I just finished my first Wherigo-geocache and it is almost ready to be published. Earlier versions did not pass my quality test. I'am looking for a scriptwriter and a cartoonartist. Anyone?

That's right, i was just wondering if i was missing something...

It's 8 month's since we were learned about Wherigo and i have made some cartridges. But its impossible to see all cartridges that are published also because some are protected to play with the emulator. Which cartridges do make the best use of the builder's (or else) possibilty's and are created with imagination and a lot of creativity? My problem is a bit that what i create does not pass my own minimum quality requirements.

I registerd for this some month's ago but have not recieved any mail (yet). Am i the only one?

My dutch personal coin was lost in the UK cache Worfe A Lot More . Its mission was to ravel from Holland to my UK-cache in Devon. Its a shame but You see, also the reverse happens. Coins from abroad get lost here in the UK. When i visit the mega-event i will let loose some more.

Hello, I have made all reservations to join the fun at your mega event in august. I will travel from Holland on thursday and hope to meet some fellowcachers and find some great caches. Yes, BigBird this is all possible with Wherigo. The images heve to fit the screen or you will have to slide down. I think the best resolution is 120x240 but i am not sure.

Request sent ofcourse my intention was non-commercial. this catridge is a great event idea. I would like to convert it to our event theme (geocoinrace in the netherlands)

Hello Ranger Fox Thanks for your post. I would like to adopt your idea and start with the code from your cartridge, but have a question. If i open the code in the builder what will happen? Will the file be corrupted? Because i understand that you only laid the foundation of your cartridge with the builder and added the other (difficult) part manually.

No, that piece of code is not included in my file, i was looking for that too. As you can see in the attached file it is broken of at the end. i tried to cut some code in notepad but was unsuccesfull. My mistake was that i saved directly after the error occured when i tried to click the error message away. Oeps, could not include the lua file, i am not permitted to do that

i have the same problem. when i activated the two buttons (yes, go on and no, stop) the program crashed and the file is corrupt i cannot open it anymore. i am a bit desperate. cannot find the wrong code in the lua file.

I have the same problem(as canadian_bacon) on one vista OS machine(home premium) on my other vista machine it works fine. reinstalled but no effect.
