What is "a world of difference", if you don't mind?
Well, having used both the etrex(yellow) and the legend I felt it was well worth the extra money to have the basemaps and the thumb toggle. It makes it a lot easier to enter your coord. and geocache names. The legend gives you a ton more than the yellow etrex for just a few more $$. The legend also has 8Mb of storage to add topo or metroguide. Which can make the unit a lot more functional. Add in the Fish and Hunt. Area Calculator, Calender and all the other accessories that the yellow etrex does not have. You have a very versitle unit that when you buy used may only cost you $20-$30 more. That to me is a "world of difference!"
